One of my favorite revision strategies was to write comments on a Google Doc. Specifically, this meant giving students comments that included questions and helpful revisions to better their work. For example, I would write, “Dive deeper into this. What are you trying to say?” I often encouraged my peers to engage with the ideas and text more and discover new connections. I also liked the peer review notes, both giving them and receiving them because they seemed to give a complete, thorough analysis of what exactly to focus on in terms of the big picture. In future classes, I will use these strategies as I am studying English. I know that these strategies will set me up for success in my future English courses.
